Brycen Potts A Gordon Country 4-H member recently earned his master 4-H status by winning showmanship at the State Market goat show in Perry. He moved to the top and won tenth grade and then had to compete against the other winners of ninth, 11th, and 12th grades. After being chosen, the judge commented that Potts was a natural and won with ease.

To master is the highest honor a 4-Her can recieve. To earn it, the person must win on the state level either as an individual or be on state winning judging team. Winning this also earned him a trip to 4-H state congress in the summer where he will be recognized and receive his awards and Master pin. Potts has been showing sheep for six years and placed second at the state lamb show this year. This was his second year showing goats.
