2012 Ellijay Amateur Radio Ham Fest: Gordon County Amateur Radio Operators (Hams) and citizens interested in radio communications are cordially invited to attend the 2012 Ellijay Ham Fest in Ellijay, Georgia. The event, sponsored by the Ellijay Amateur Radio Society, will be held on Saturday, May 12, 7AM - 2PM at the Gilmer County Civic Center located on South Main Street. There is a $5.00 entrance fee that includes a ticket for prize drawings. There will be several ham radio related technical forums and FCC License Exams. All hams and vendors of ham radio, computer and audio equipment for sale or trade are cordially invited to come. Inside table set-up begins 6AM. Tail gate spaces are free first come, first served.
